Chinese Ambassador pays courtesy call on Jamaat Ameer
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has received a courtesy call from Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen. The meeting was held at Jamaat-e-Islami’s Bashundhara office on Tuesday.

Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair and Director of the Political Section of the Chinese Embassy Zhang Jing were also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, they openly discussed issues of mutual interest.
They also expressed hope that the economic, political, commercial, diplomatic and friendly relations between Bangladesh and China and the trend of bilateral development and progress will be further strengthened in the coming days.
